The emblem consists a blooming lotus with a Shrikhol and a pair of Karataal upon it. From behind a Shrikhunti is being uplifted. Shrikhunti is situated between the two Nishaans. The great advice of Shriman Mahaprabhu, “Naam Sangkirtan kalou param upay” (In Kaliyuga the ultimate way is Naam Sangkirtan cum chanting the names of GOD), is inscribed on the Shrikhunti.

Likewise, the indefinite preaching of ‘Bhagwat’, “Yayatma Samprasidati”, is inscribed in front of the lotus. At the very end, ‘Nityananda Janmasthan’ has been written.
Now, let’s explain the above matters deeply and let’s tend to reveal the actual meaning of the emblem. On the infinite ocean of this material world (Sansaar) the Lotus has blossomed. In the realm of the flowers, the Lotus has the highest glory! None has the glory or dignity to stand firmly beside lotus. As lotus is the main attraction of river, devotion is the main essence of all works or actions. So, we should aspire extremely to please the Lord and His devotees.
Bhajan is the soul of devotion. It expresses devotion vividly. And where there is devotion, there is everything cum everyone. Such is the glory of devotion. Devotion is the root of spiritual happiness : “Yayatmasamprasidati”. Now let’s explain spiritual happiness. Every time we do every work just to gain joy. But, what is the actual nature of joy? How long is joy? What is the result of it? Is it good for us? From Devaraj Indra to the worm of shit, everyone is always longing for their own enjoyment. But, our idea of joy is fragile, very fleeting. The duration of this happiness is so much temporary. And this raw happiness brings regret too. Therefore, we need spiritual happiness. This spiritual happiness is rooted in devotion. The idol of everlasting jubilation is Nityananda and by His grace devotional lotus is developed on the ocean of works. The devotional lotus is the seat of Shrikhol, Karatal, Khunti and Nishaan. They are the publishers and holders of Sangkirtan. This is our main refuge.
By the way, immediately before his demise, Srimat Bada Babaji Mahashay, the great follower of SrimanMahaprabhu, preceptor of the age, summoned his most deserving successor Sripad Ramdas Babaji Mahashay. Then Bada Babaji Mahashay gave him his own Karataal and said, “Shrikhol, Karataal, Shrikhunti and Nishaan have been stored in the drawing room. The boys are here also. Always keep an eye on them.” Actually, Bada Babaji Mahashay wanted to give us the message that Naam is everything. So, we have to perform Naam with all our spirit. The taste of spiritual love is there inside Naam and the essence of Naam is there inside Shrikhol and Karataal. Another name of Shrikhol is Mridanga. Shriman Mahaprabhu resides inside Mridanga and Shriman Nityananda Prabhu dwells inside Karataal-pair. Shrikhuntis are also worshipped as the idols of Mahaprabhu and Nityananda Prabhu. Shrikhunti is of half-moon shape. Kaaji Saheb of contemporary Navadwip gave Mahaprabhu this half-moon-shaped Shrikhunti for the first time as a clearance to free and continuous Sangkirtan. In Nagar Sangkirtan, those Shrikhuntis are taken away earlier. Now, Shrikhunti has an incredible significance in Nagar Sangkirtan and Naam-Yagya.
Nishaan (The holy flag) is a beauty of Naam-Yagya and Nagar-Sangkirtan. So, IT has a serious importance in the complete publication of the nature of Sangkirtan.
There is the important message of Shriman Mahaprabhu in the emblem: “Naam-sangkirtankalou param upay”. Naam is the best blessing ever in the path of success in every kind of field. Humanist ShrimanMahaprabhu had chosen Naam-Sangkirtan as the best mean for mass communication and public welfare. His affection fell on the lower strata of society. Leaving the millionaires, he befriended with poor vendor Shridhar and with ShuklambarBrahmachari. Without accepting any kind of royal patronage, he chose Naam as the chief element for nation-building. There is no distinction of cast and creed to join Naam-Sangkirtan. There is no obligation of time, venue or law. Healthy development of intellect is done by Naam. Then, we get desired fulfillment undoubtedly. Then we observe bliss everywhere. So, Naam-Sangkirtan is the absolute way! Naam provides us social and spiritual liberation and the actual success of human-birth. This great worship of Naam-Sangkirtan is thoroughly expressed and illustrated in this emblem.
